Have you ever wondered just how accurate a shotgun really is or why are uzis so popular?
That’s the kind of stuff that keeps the people at The Vegas Machine Gun Experience (MGE) awake at night; see, these people really, really like guns!
And what’s not to like? MGE offers a dizzying range of the most iconic weapons from the aforementioned uzis and shotguns to AK-47s and firearms used by the Special Forces.
This review will go through every little detail of The Vegas Machine Gun Experience, so you can decide if that’s the best place for you to go shooting in Vegas. Click here for other shooting ranges reviews.
A review from a visitor:
We came here whilst on holiday in Vegas, staff are so friendly and patient! Also the driver who picked us up was lovely and very chatty Thanks for some great memories!
The Vegas Machine Gun Experience is open every day of the week. The hours are between 9AM – 6:30PM Mon – Sat, and 11AM – 4:30PM on Sundays.
Funnily enough, the most important thing at a gun range are not the targets or even the guns, but the staff.
First of all, it’s about safety, and secondly, it’s about having fun. Those two things don’t necessarily always go hand in hand, so it takes a special kind of a professional who can make you feel like everything is under control at all times and that you can focus on having fun with the guns.
The Range Officer, Big John, is, well, BIG, but also, really funny! A visitor called Marco M describes him:
“Our Instructor “Big John” was great. His jokes have caused some laughs, but he has also given clear and distinct instructions, when it came to the issue of security.”
Don and Zach, the instructors at MGE, are experienced shooters and hunters, who will help you to get the hang of things quickly, and they will even teach you a lesson or two about the guns you are shooting with – live and learn, right?
Ok – MGE is not joking around with these shooting packages. They offer an impressive 19 different packages; if you can’t find a suitable package from this selection, the problem is probably looking at you in the mirror.
Shooting is really affordable in Vegas; the packages at Machine Gun Experience range between $70 and $500, with most of them costing around $130. As a comparison, the minimum stake at a blackjack table at Bellagio is $15, which means that for the price of the cheapest shooting package you can play four and a half hands of blackjack at Bellagio.
Note that all shooting packages include (if not mentioned otherwise):
The crown jewel of MGE, The Works suits for those who have a hard time choosing. Why not have them all? Take this package and you’ll never need to guess if you’d liked that other gun a bit more…
Guns included:
