Warriors Looking to Extend Brief Winning Streak Against Bobcats

Finally back on track, the Golden State Warriors host the Charlotte Bobcats from the West Coast on Tuesday night. The Warriors hit a major bump in the road last week after putting together an impressive 10-game winning streak. Charlotte has beaten Golden State once already this season, but a win tonight could be very difficult to come by if Kemba Walker cannot play due to a sprained left ankle.

Warriors out to record another lengthy win streak

After putting together their longest winning streak in 30 years, the Warriors dropped six of their last nine games. Now, they have won two straight games as they prepare to host the Bobcats at the Oracle Arena. Golden State is a much better home team than road team this year, so every game they can win at home is crucial for this team as it fights for a playoff spot. Steph Curry recorded a season-high 44 points in a win over Utah on Friday night. He was also named to his first All-Star team last week.

Offensive struggles continue with Walker

Should Kemba Walker miss tonight’s game for Charlotte, the Bobcats might have trouble scoring points. It is bad enough that the Bobcats average just 94.4 points per game. Walker has missed the last seven games, practiced on Monday, but is still listed as questionable for tonight’s contest. To illustrate how bad their offense has been this year, the Bobcats went 6:41 between the second and third quarters of a loss to the Phoenix Suns on Saturday without scoring a point.

There are just four games on the NBA schedule Tuesday night, which means that there likely won’t be a marquee matchup. That is the case tonight, which is why we will bet on Golden State and Charlotte over at TopBet. With the favorable line of -9.5 (-110), we have to lay the line for the Warriors with 10 percent of our bankroll.
