Thunder Visit Clippers as Los Angeles Opens Its 2014-2015 Schedule at Home

The post-Donald Sterling era begins on Thursday night for the Clippers under new owner Steve Ballmer. Los Angeles will open their season at home against the Thunder, who already lost a game this year. This should be one of the more exciting games on the schedule Thursday night as these two teams will be contenders for the Western Conference crown. We are going to place our bet on the host Clippers tonight as they send Oklahoma City to an 0-2 start to the year.

Clippers ready to move on from Sterling scandal

Los Angeles is thinking positive and only about the future as they move forward from the Donald Sterling scandal that tainted the end of last season. The Clippers are out to win a third straight Pacific Division title and so much more in 2014-2015. This game is a rematch of the playoff series between the Clippers and Thunder from last season, which saw the Clippers get sent home by the Thunder.

Thunder prepared for an energized crowd and difficult battle

Oklahoma City already has one loss this year and does not want to open the year 0-2. They will need to find a way to mute the Los Angeles crowd and play their game as best as possible. Kevin Durant will not play in this game as he is still recovering from surgery on his right foot that was performed earlier in October. The Thunder lost their season opener to Portland with Durant out of the lineup.

We are going to browse the odds found at TopBet.eu on Thursday night for the NBA contest between the Thunder and the Clippers from Los Angeles. We are going to drop 15 percent of our bankroll on the Clippers and the spread as they roll the Thunder out of town with an 0-2 record to begin the new season.
