Struggling Stars Visit Maple Leafs Tuesday Night in Search of a Win

The Dallas Stars are tied with the Colorado Avalanche for the worst point total in the Central Division of the Western Conference. The Toronto Maple Leafs are in the thick of things in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. When these two teams meet on Tuesday night we could see a major blowout in favor of the Maple Leafs. They are averaging almost 3.5 goals scored per game, while the Stars have allowed almost 3.5 goals scored per game on defense. We like the Maple Leafs to win this game tonight.

Maple Leafs look to continue hot streak at home

Toronto will look to win a fourth consecutive home game when it hosts the Stars on Tuesday night at the Air Canada Centre. Since dropping four of their first five home games of the season, the Maple Leafs have played to a 7-2-0 record in front of their home fans. It seems as though a 9-2 home loss to the Nashville Predators on November 18 helped the Maple Leafs come out of a major funk.

Stars still looking for answers on both sides of the puck

Dallas has struggled in almost all facets of the game this season. The Stars have just 9 wins and 23 points, which puts them at the bottom of the Central Division. The offense and the defense for Dallas have been downright awful this season, averaging 2.88 and 3.46 goals per game, respectively. Their defense is ranked 29th in the league, while their penalty kill comes in at 22nd in the league. Their last time on the ice, the Stars dropped a 5-2 decision to the Avalanche.

When the Stars visit the Maple Leafs for an NHL contest on Tuesday night, we will find the odds at Bovada.lv, where Toronto is favored to win this game. We are going to drop 15 percent of our bankroll on Toronto and the -130 money line as they take home another victory.
