Oilers Look to Remain Hot Against Eastern Conference Teams With Senators in Town

Edmonton has been dominating against Eastern Conference opponents this year, but has yet to win a game against opponents from the Western Conference. Ottawa comes into tonight’s game on a three-game slide, going 0-2-1, and will look to grab a win against Edmonton after being swept in the season series last year. The Oilers are allowing more than three goals per game this season, but we still like Edmonton to win this contest at home.

Edmonton hopes to remain undefeated against East at home

With another home game against an Eastern Conference team, the Oilers look to remain unbeaten at the Rexall Center tonight. They have played four games at home against teams from the East and have yet to drop one of them. They have also won six of eight games this year against the East. Edmonton would be having a much better season if they could beat teams in the West, which they have yet to do. They are 0-7-1 against their own conference.

Ottawa aiming to add points with road win

The Senators need to begin piling up the points if they want to make a move in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. We know it is still early in the season, but the Senators have just 18 points and are third from the basement of the Atlantic. It would take a major collapse for them to fall into last place, where the Buffalo Sabres have just eight points this year.

On Thursday night, the Oilers host the Senators for an inter-conference battle. Both of these teams desperately need points, the Oilers more so than the Senators. We are going to place our wager at BetOnline.ag tonight, where the Oilers are underdogs at home. Despite these odds, we still like the Oilers to win this game, which is why we will drop 10 percent of our bankroll on Edmonton and the UNDER 5.5 total goals scored.
