Heat Go For Tie Early in East Finals Series With Pacers in Indiana

Just two months ago, it looked as if the Pacers would fall out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Now, they hold the one-seed and home-court advantage as they prepare for game two of the East Finals with the Miami Heat. Miami dropped game one by 11 points on the road and will need to rebound prior to returning home for games three and four. We are going to place our bets on the Heat as they even the series at one game apiece on Tuesday night.

Heat prepared to face onslaught from Pacers and fans

Miami knows what it takes to win playoff games on the road, which is why they absolutely need to do in game two tonight to avoid returning home down 2-0 in the East Finals. The Heat were outplayed in game one by the Pacers and will need to find answers for Paul George if they hope to compete in this contest. Miami has not lost back-to-back playoff games since the 2012 East Finals against Boston.

Pacers excited for opportunity to go up 2-0 in series

Indiana can put itself in an excellent position by winning game two at home tonight. If they secure the victory over the Heat they would travel to Miami for game three with a 2-0 lead in the series. This lead isn’t insurmountable, but it is still a strong lead to have in the East Finals. Paul George has the unenviable task of containing LeBron James in this series and he will have his hands full tonight.

The NBA playoffs have been incredibly exciting this season and the East Finals will only increase the excitement. We find the betting odds at BetOnline.ag, where the Heat are road chalk with the spread. We will drop 15 percent of our bankroll on Miami and the -135 money line as they even the series at one.
