Game Four of NBA West Finals Tonight With Spurs Leading 2-1
- Category :
After a convincing win in game three to get right back into this series, the Thunder are just a win away from tying the Western Conference Finals. The home team has won all three games so far in this series, which is why the Thunder have an excellent shot at tying things up on Tuesday night at the Chesapeak Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. Tip-off between these two rivals is scheduled for 9:00 PM ET.
Thunder closing in on an even series
Oklahoma City looked absolutely lost in the first two games of this series with San Antonio on the road. They were without Serge Ibaka, who triumphantly returned in game three at home to lead his team to a much-needed win. It was initially thought that Ibaka would be out for the remainder of the season with his strained left calf. He said he felt fine after the game three win and expects to be in the lineup on Tuesday night for game four. Ibaka enjoyed himself in game three with 15 points, seven rebounds and four blocks.
Spurs ready to rebound for game four victory
San Antonio struggled in game three after dominating the Thunder at home in the first two games of this series. It originally looked like the Spurs would sweep the Thunder in embarrassing fashion, but dropped game three in Oklahoma City. Now, they need to rebound to put the Thunder in a precarious 3-1 hole with the series headed back to San Antonio for game five. The Spurs will need their own big-three to play one of their patented post-season games in order to win this contest.
