Exciting Contest Between West Powers Houston And Oklahoma City Tonight

Sports bettors across the country have been waiting for this NBA game all day. Two of the West’s top teams collide at the Chesapeake Energy Arena Tuesday night when the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Houston Rockets. The Thunder are the two-seed in the West right now and the Rockets are the three-seed. Just two games separate the teams in the standings. With James Harden returning to his old stomping grounds, we will back Houston.

Rockets and James Harden out for blood

The Houston Rockets, led by former Thunder James Harden, will be out for blood on Tuesday night when they visit Oklahoma City. Houston will put a five-game winning streak on the line against the Thunder, which has sent them into the third spot in the West standings. Houston is not as good of a road team as they are at home this season, so they hope they can play well tonight in front of a raucous crowd.

Thunder trying to get back on track

Oklahoma City has struggled of late, losing two straight games and playing to a 5-5 mark in their last 10 overall. At home, the Thunder are an impressive 26-6 this season, so a home game will be welcome. They enter this game following an ugly loss to the lowly Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday by just four points. The Thunder will need to play stronger defense with Houston in town if they want to take home the victory tonight.

When the Houston Rockets visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night in Oklahoma City, the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag have the Thunder as home chalk. We do not agree with this line, which is why we will place 15 percent of our bankroll on the visiting Rockets to secure the win with the +165 money line as they move to within one game of the Thunder in the standings.
