Eagles Open Home Schedule With Visit From Jaguars Sunday Afternoon

The first Sunday of the new NFL season will begin this weekend when the Eagles play host to the Jaguars at Lincoln Financial Field. After a successful first season under new head coach Chip Kelly, the Eagles will look to win another division title and move further in the playoffs. Jacksonville will once again try to put together a season that sees them win more than just four games. They are also under a second year head coach in Gus Bradley. We like Philadelphia in their home opener on Sunday.

Eagles ready to unleash new offensive weapons

The Eagles are excited to see what some of their new offensive weapons can do. There are two players making their Chip Kelly debuts on Sunday; Darren Sproles and Jeremy Maclin. Maclin missed all of last season due to a torn ACL. He will hopefully thrive under Kelly with the subtraction of DeSean Jackson, who was released early in the off-season. Sproles was a force in New Orleans and should be unstoppable in this high-octane offense in Philly.

Jaguars looking for more success in second season under Bradley

This is the second season for Gus Bradley in Jacksonville and the Jaguars did not have fun in his first, going 4-12 for the year. Bradley was an head coach candidate for the Eagles before they hired Kelly for the job. Things could have been a lot different in the City of Brotherly Love if Bradley had been hired there. He will look to get the Jaguars closer to the playoffs in his second season beginning with their game on Sunday.

Jacksonville is a major underdog against Philadelphia on the road this weekend, which comes as no surprise since they struggled so much last year. We will drop 20 percent of our bankroll on Philly at BetOnline.ag as we lay the line of -10.5 (-105) Sunday.
