Brooklyn And Toronto Fighting to Finish in Game Seven Sunday Afternoon

Two Eastern Conference rivals finish their first-round playoff series on Sunday afternoon in Toronto as the Raptors host the Nets. These two teams despise each other, so game seven should be one of the more exciting games of the first-round. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 1:00 PM ET, which means the league will know which team is headed to the second-round before the afternoon is complete. We are going to take the Nets on the road to advance.

Nets need strong performance for victory

Brooklyn cannot afford to get off to a slow start on Sunday afternoon if they want to win game seven and move to the second-round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Nets saved their season in game six with a victory at home over the Raptors. Now, they head out on the road to try to seal the series victory against a team that they do not have any affinity for whatsoever. Brooklyn has dropped its only two appearances in a game seven situation, losing most recently to Chicago last year in the first-round.

Raptors hope home crowd helps in game seven

Toronto is hoping that playing in front of their home crowd will help them get over the hump in game seven. They could not seal the deal in Brooklyn in game six, but welcome the challenge at home this afternoon. Toronto has not won a game seven, losing their only chance in franchise history. Toronto lost its only game seven appearance to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2001. They hope to change that history on Sunday afternoon.

As the Raptors and Nets collide for game seven this afternoon, we will grab the odds from the sportsbook found at Bovada.lv, where the Raptors are home favorites. Even though Brooklyn is the underdog today, we will bet 15 percent of our bankroll on the visiting Nets as they advance to the second-round. Our bet will be placed on the OVER 189 total points at -115 this afternoon.
