Blackhawks En Route to 3-0 Lead Over Wild on Tuesday Night in Minnesota

We hate to say it, but this series is over. We are sorry Minnesota fans, but the Blackhawks are way too good for this matchup. They already have a 2-0 lead in the series and will look for the commanding 3-0 lead on Tuesday night when the series shifts to Saint Paul. Minnesota has not played with the same edge as it did in its series against Colorado in the opening round. This is why we like the Blackhawks with the game three win tonight.

Blackhawks headed for huge lead in the series

Chicago has showed no signs of letting up in this series, or in the playoffs. They are the defending Stanley Cup champions and have won two of the last four league titles. Now, they are looking for two straight and three of the last five. They can move one step closer to this goal by taking down the Wild in game three of the series on Tuesday night. It will not be an easy task, but the Blackhawks are up for the challenge.

Wild in desperate need of a win

Minnesota finds itself down 2-0 in this series, but they are not worried about it yet. They trailed Colorado 2-0 in the first round, but were able to rebound and win the series in seven games, with their final win coming in overtime. Minnesota needs to play with the same energy, fight and will tonight as they did in the opening series with the Avalanche. Can it be done a second series in a row? Probably not.

As these two Western Conference rivals prepare for game three of their second-round series, we find the betting odds at TopBet.eu, where the Blackhawks are favored to win even though they are on the road. We will bet 15 percent of our bankroll on Chicago as we lay the line of -1.5 (+230) as they take a 3-0 lead in the series.
