AL And NL All-Stars Set to Meet at Target Field For 85th Edition
- Category :
In what is becoming more of a soap opera than a sporting event, the 85th edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday night at Target Field. Adam Wainwright, of the Cardinals, will take the hill for the NL squad. Felix Hernandez, of the Mariners, will be handed the ball for the AL team. They are two of the top pitchers in the game today, but the NL squad might have the overall pitching advantage, which is why we are going to back the National League on Tuesday night.
National League All-Stars ready for tough battle at the plate
The NL offensive players know that nothing is going to come easy at Target Field when they see King Felix standing on the mound as they dig into the batter’s box on Tuesday night. After being shutout 3-0 in last year’s game, the NL squad knows that a lot of the pressure will be on them to score first in this game. They also want to secure home-field advantage for their league in the World Series.
American League squad out to start another long win streak
The American League All-Stars have pulled to within four games of tying this series in overall record. They were able to do that following a lengthy unbeaten streak in the last 1990s and early 2000s that included one tie. With a win in 2013, the AL team can officialy start a new winning streak this year with another victory. They will need a strong performance from their pitching staff and some early runs against Wainwright.
We will place our All-Star Game bet at TopBet.eu on Tuesday as the NL and AL squads collide. The NL squad is the underdog tonight, but this will not deter us from placing 15 percent of our bankroll on them to win the game. We will bet on the OVER 7.5 total runs scored at +105 as the NL rebounds from a loss one year ago.
